Megan & Angus: The Johnstown Westies Duo!

Picture
Meet Megan (8) and Angus (2)! These two lovely Westies are a mother and son. They can be placed separately, but will prioritize someone that can take them together.

The Quick Facts:

Ages:
Megan is 8, Angus is 2.
Health & Training:
Both are healthy, fixed, and up to date on shots. They're fully housebroken and crate trained (sometimes they even share!).

Fun:
They love to wrestle and chase each other around the house, and they enjoy 2-3 walks a day.

Meet the Dogs:

Angus (The Loud, Loyal Kid):
He’s an energetic 2-year-old who loves his toys and has a wide range of noises to tell you what he wants—he even rings a bell to go out!

Megan (The Shy, Sweet Boss):
The independent, shy 8-year-old sweetheart. She’s good on a leash and keeps Angus on his toes! She gets nervous during fireworks and thunderstorms, but she has medication to help her stay calm.

McKenzie – April 2026

Picture
“Kenzie” is an active 4-year-old girl that was raised along side
a four-year-old Corgi. Her owners decided to find a new home for
her after she started bullying the Corgi and their lives became
mostly about trying to keep the two dogs apart.
She now has a new home with Deb Gallant. Deb lost her husband
just weeks ago, and then her 15 year old Westie a month before
that. She and her 7 year old Winston were looking for a
companion, and they took in McKenzie to start a new chapter in
all of their lives.

Benji – March 2026

Picture
We found Benji, a Westie-Cairn mix, in a shelter where he had
been given up because he was aggressive towards other dogs. He
was in a temporary situation that he needed to get out of. Lyn
Sabino fostered him and got him the training he needed to get
over his aggression and separation anxiety.
He now has a permanent home in Roanoke with Sharon and Ben Boone
and their family. They lost their Westie, Finlay, this past
January and were thrilled to get Benji.

Princess Sophia – September 2025

Picture
Princess Sophia lived her whole 7 years being the center of
attention of her retired owner. When the owner died, her daughter
took Sophia but their existing dog proved to be less than
friendly to the newcomer. They called us and we found her a new
home in East Liverpool, Ohio. The princess is doing great with
the family and her new big brother, a 4-year-old Shar Pei mix,
Waylon.
