Behavior Training

Make sure your pup gets enough exercise. If he or she's bored they will be more apt to chew or tear things up. Take a few minutes before work and take them for a walk, or spend a few minutes playing to spend excess energy. If possible, have someone let you're pup out during the day. It's unrealistic to expect your pup to "hold it" all day. You can't why would you expect them to.
