Foster Contract
The Westie Rescue of Western Pennsylvania follows an extremely strict protocol when
placing a Westie in need of a foster home:
1. Click above to view our foster forms: Foster Application AND Foster Contract. Print them out
and complete BOTH forms.
2. Both forms must be completed prior to any fostering and either scanned & emailed
to [email protected] OR or mailed to Westie Rescue of Western PA, c/o Bob
Murphy, Coordinator, 515 West Water Street, Smethport, PA 16749, respectively.
3. After completing both applications and mailing them OR emailing them to the
Coordinator of Westie Recue of Western PA, Bob Murphy, you may then contact him at
814-598-0697.
4. Please understand that completing the applications and phoning Mr. Murphy does
NOT guarantee fostering. A very thorough decision-making process is utilized, keeping
the dog's individual needs as the main contributing factor for who is chosen as the foster
family.
5. Due to the high number of applications received, further communication will only be
with the potential foster family. We are a very small organization made up of ONLY
volunteers, therefore responding to each and every interested party will be attempted
but not guaranteed.
